A collection of two Department 56 ceramic village houses. Included is "The Old Curiosity Shop" from the Dickens' Village Series, dated 1987, featuring intricate architectural details and signage for "Rare Books". The second piece is "Christmas in the City", also dated 1987, depicting a multi-story building with shops on the ground floor including a "PET STORE" and "Town Tailors". Both pieces are crafted from ceramic and designed to resemble festive, snow-dusted buildings. The "Christmas in the City" house measures approximately 10 inches in height. These highly detailed pieces are popular additions to holiday village displays. Ceramic figure shows some age-related yellowing/discoloration, primarily to the surface, consistent with age and display. Location O 5
